Theale Green School is proud to announce its outstanding success at the West Berkshire Sports Awards Evening, held on Tuesday 9th September. The event was a true celebration of sporting excellence across the county, and for Theale Green, it marked a defining moment in the school’s journey — one filled with pride, achievement, and community spirit.
From the moment our Sports Leaders welcomed Headteachers, dignitaries, families, students and staff from across West Berkshire, to the show-stopping performances by our two solo singers, the evening showcased the very best of Theale Green School.
The school was honoured with a series of prestigious awards, including:

Additionally, Eva Fuller, a new Year 7 student, received two awards for her achievements in primary school — one for netball and another for football. Eva, who plays for Chelsea and was part of a nationally recognised boys’ team last year, is already making her mark and is certainly one to watch.
Headteacher, Charlotte Badarello said:
“It was truly a highlight for our entire community, the sense of pride I and other staff on the evening felt was enormous. Our students and staff continue to inspire, and last night was a powerful reminder of what makes our school community so special. Additionally, I would like to congratulate our two solo performers, Lexie Whitter and Sophie Higgs, Year 11, on their incredible performances that moved the audience.”
Theale Green School extends its heartfelt congratulations to all award winners and nominees, and thanks the West Berkshire School Sports Network for a memorable evening.
