Inspectors described the school as a “friendly school” where pupils feel safe, happy and confident. Students told inspectors they are proud to be part of the school community and value the support they receive, with staff ensuring every pupil is “known, supported and cared for.”
The report places significant emphasis on the school’s inclusive ethos, praising the strong relationships between staff and pupils. Inspectors noted that these connections help to ensure that every child feels valued and able to succeed.
The school’s systems for supporting pupils were also recognised, with Ofsted highlighting clear and effective approaches to removing barriers to learning. These systems ensure that all students are given the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their starting point.
Ofsted further commended the school’s “ambitious, broad and balanced” curriculum, which prepares students well for their next steps in education, employment or training. Inspectors found that pupils are developing into well-rounded and responsible young people as a result.
The inspection comes after a period of significant change for the school, with Ofsted acknowledging the rapid improvements made. Leaders were praised for their clear vision, high expectations and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
