Year 11 students at Theale Green School are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results.
Excited students picked up their results from the Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school this morning, having waited anxiously over the summer.
This exceptional year group, who have had a disrupted secondary school experience, including the national pandemic and wider socio-economic factors, have gone on to achieve some outstanding results. Stand out achievements include
- Lauren Clifford
- Kush Patel
- Amy Wilkes
- James Young
These incredible young people achieved 11 top grade 9’s and 13 grade 8 results between them and we just know are destined for great things.
We are so proud of all our students who have shone in so many ways in their time with us, not just academically, but in sports, arts, and by being active members of the school community.
Head of School, Charlotte Badarello, said:
“Once again our students have demonstrated remarkable maturity and resilience to successfully overcome the challenges of the last two years and achieve results that they should be very proud of. This year group have added colour and vibrancy to Theale Green School, with a large number taking on lead roles in performances, productions, and other enriching opportunities such as Sports Leaders and our School Council. I would like to congratulate the students, and of course the staff who have supported them on this journey. I feel privileged to have been able to see them become young adults and the school community looks forward to welcoming many of them in to our successful Sixth Form and supporting them on the next phase of their educational journey and achieve their full potential.”
Theale Green School is continuing to support students by providing information, advice and guidance on GCSE results day.
Our vision is to ‘Transform Lives Through Learning’ and we look forward to seeing those who will continue their studies in the Sixth Form at Theale Green School and wish well to those going on to other post 16 educational providers.
