On Friday, Theale Green School received a virtual visit from Alok Sharma, MP for Reading West and Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

Mr Sharma met with Headteacher, Joanna Halliday, to discuss Theale Green; its growth, its journey so far and the positive impact of Theale Green joining the Activate Learning Education Trust (ALET).

As well as hitting on key topics such as mental health, access to physical activity and Covid-19 and the impact they have had on education, there was also engaging conversation around school funding and the importance of schools working with employers and the opportunities that these relationships bring.

Theale Green School would like to thank Alok Sharma for taking the time to engage on key topics at the top of the agenda.
