Teamwork was the name of the game on Tuesday November 9, when Year 7 were joined by the Royal Navy Attract Team for a Team Building Day.

Each student took part in a one-hour session, in groups, to complete challenges comprising of Spiders Web (having to negotiate a large web to allow all members of the group to pass through the individual holes), Cylinder Challenge (working as a team to remove a large cylinder from a large rope circle without entering the circle) and STEM Challenge (building a wheelbarrow out of STEM Lego).

The aim of the Navy Attract Team challenges were to demonstrate to students how good communication is the basis for team-building, management and overall effectiveness on any operation. Students had to work as a team to discuss, negotiate, prioritise and communicate to complete the challenges which they did with enthusiasm and much success.
