TGS were very excited to welcome Theatre in Education company 2Engaged and their performance Risking It All.
The company are touring all schools in West Berkshire and TGS was their first stop!
The show focuses on risk-taking behaviours and its impact on young people’s lives. The practical, interaction drama workshop gave students the opportunity to learn true stories, ask questions and examine risk taking. The performance covered CCE, CSE, substance abuse, e-safety and inappropriate relationships, which students will be discussing further during their RSHE lessons.
The performers commented on Year 9s mature response to the performance and their highly reflective comments. They said that Year 9 were a highly engaged audience and they hope all the rest of their performance ran so smoothly.
